High School Students for Charity

High School Students for Charity is open to students in grades 9 - 12 who complete the application process. The organization raises money throughout the year to give back to those within our school/community who are in need. All money raised is matched by the Winner Foundation of Hermitage, PA. The money raised has been used to help those who experience a natural disaster, the loss of a family member, extended hospitalization, those in need of clothing and general supplies, and school/community beautification.  

The purpose of this organization shall be to:

  1. Promote student involvement in the community;
  2. Develop the positive practice of good citizenship;
  3. Promote positive relationships throughout the entire school;
  4. Promote the general welfare of the school and community;
  5. Provide students the opportunity for developing leadership skills;
  6. Promote student and community interaction;
  7. Oversee and plan fundraising activities;
  8. Reviews grant proposals and award monies.
