Envirothon

Envirothon is a club whose only requirements are to be in 9th grade or higher and love the outdoors.  We meet twice per month to discuss and learn about different aspects of the outdoors.  Members can choose if they wish to compete in a county-wide team competition in April.  We regularly stock trout with the Fish and Game Commission and, when possible, we travel to various waters around the school community to test water quality. 

Field trips include: Trout stocking, water quality testing, Munnell Run Training Day and/or Test Day, and visiting the University of Pittsburgh's Ecology Lab in Linesville, Pa.
