Mrs. Tracy McBride High School Principal

 

Mrs. McBride is an experienced educator with a passion for guiding and supporting students. She began her journey in education in 1997 when she joined Lakeview School District as an Administrative Assistant. Her dedication to education is evident through her continuous pursuit of knowledge and professional growth.

Mrs. McBride's academic achievements include:

- Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University (1990)

- Master's degree in Education & School Counselor Certification from Westminster College (2016)

- School Administrator certification from Point Park University (2024)

For the past seven years, Mrs. McBride has served as a school counselor at Rocky Grove High School in Franklin, PA. In this role, she has been instrumental in supporting students' academic, personal, and career development.

With her recent attainment of a School Administrator certification, Mrs. McBride continues to expand her expertise in educational leadership, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in education.

As an alumni of Lakeview High School Mrs. McBride is deeply honored and enthusiastic to return to Lakeview School District, where her educational career began. She looks forward to serving the students, staff, and community in her new capacity, bringing her wealth of experience and dedication to support the district's mission and goals.

Outside of her professional life, Mrs. McBride resides in Grove City with her husband, Kevin. They are proud parents of three adult children and 2 son-in-laws all who reside in the Mercer County area: Victoria (married to Chuck), Celeste (married to Todd), and Tucker. The family has grown to include four wonderful grandchildren: Charles, Carter, Adalynn, and Ronan.

 

Mr. Curtis Ace Middle High School Principal

 

Mr. Ace is a graduate of Franklin High School. He attended Edinboro University of PA, earning a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Special Education, a Master’s of Arts Degree in Secondary Guidance Counseling, and K-12 Principal Certification. He also earned Supervisor of Special Education Certification through Slippery Rock University of PA.

Prior to becoming the Lakeview Middle School Principal Mr. Ace served as the Assistant Principal at Oakview Elementary, Assistant Principal at Lakeview Middle-High School, and worked as a Special Education Teacher at Vision Quest, Clarion Psychiatric Center, and Conneaut Lake High School for a total of 9 years. He then worked as a Guidance Counselor at Commodore Perry High School for 16 years. He also served in the United States Army Reserves for 8 years.

He is focused on promoting self-advocacy and self-determination in young people and enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively in helping all students succeed.

Mr. Ace is happily married to his wife, Stephanie. They are both proud parents of two grown children, Brendan and Kaylee. Mr. Ace enjoys the outdoors and working on his 10-acre
property in the country.

 

Mrs. Kelly Deniker - Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Deniker is an administrative assistant for Lakeview Middle High School.  She is a graduate of Lakeview High School.  Mrs. Deniker loved being a stay at home mom before beginning her career with the district as a personal care aide.  She then spent a decade as a clerk for the nurse's office before taking her current position in the MSHS office in January of 2022.

Mrs. Deniker resides in Stoneboro with her husband, Clay.  They have a daughter, Hannah and a son-in-law, Turner.  Their son, Cody, is married to Brooke, and they have 2 sons, Clyde and Clark.  In her spare time, Mrs. Deniker enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.

 

Mrs. Trista Vandevander -- Administrative Assistant
 

Mrs. Vandevander is the Administrative Assistant at MSHS to Mr. Mike Rodriguez, Assistant Principal. She attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where, in 2007 she earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and History.  After college, she worked for Verizon Wireless, as a Business Account Executive in Boston and Pittsburgh. In 2020, she and her family moved back to the area. Prior to working at Lakeview, she worked as a paraprofessional at Jamestown, developing a love for working in education.

Mrs. Vandevander resides in Greenville, PA with her husband, Justin, and their four kids, Jacob, Saige, Witten, and Maddux. In her free time, she enjoys coaching 8U softball, watching her kids play sports, and traveling.
